CLEVELAND — An award-winning artist and former server at the historic Flannery’s Pub on East 4th Street returned to her former employer to create a large mural inside the restaurant and bar.
Eileen Dorsey has won many awards for her work and was named Best Artist by Cleveland Scene Magazine in 2018, but she wasn’t always a full-time artist.
In the early 2000s, Dorsey worked on East 4th Street as a server, working at Flannery’s Pub, the iconic Irish-themed landmark in the heart of downtown Cleveland.
On Friday, Dorsey returned to the pub to work, but not as a server—this time as an artist, unveiling an Ireland-themed mural she created inside of the pub in time for their St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
