Brook Park police say an 8-year-old girl who was hit by a car on Saturday has passed away.
According to a press release issued by the department, a vehicle exiting Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish parking lot crossed Engle Road and hit the girl who was in a private driveway.
The girl, identified as Khloe Nida, was taken to Southwest Hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Police say they have identified all parties involved and are not looking for any vehicles at this time.
