CLEVELAND — Cleveland Browns guard Joel Bitonio, who was recently named to the Pro Bowl for the fourth consecutive year, is giving back to the city of Cleveland in a special holiday experience called “Home Team Holiday Cheer.”

Bitonio partnered with Meijer to provide all 22 City of Cleveland Neighborhood Resource and Recreation Centers with Browns-themed gift bags, gaming systems and gift cards.

Two kids at each location will receive a $125 gift card to use at Meijer stores and a Browns-themed gift bag while the five gaming systems will be able to be used at the centers by all the children.

Bitonio and his wife Courtney usually hold a holiday shopping event for children in-person, and while he couldn’t join them this year due to COVID-19 protocols and concerns, the offensive lineman still wanted to make sure Cleveland youth had a memorable holiday season.

“We greatly appreciate everything that the City of Cleveland Recreation Centers do for the kids in our hometown, and we hope that all of them can enjoy these gifts this holiday season and throughout the year,” Bitonio said. “While Courtney and I will definitely miss shopping with the kids, it was important to us to still find a way to bring a smile to their faces and create great memories for them this year. We also thank Meijer for their generosity in helping us make this a special holiday for as many of Cleveland’s kids as possible.”
