CLEVELAND — Authorities are investigating after city workers discovered a body in the backyard of an abandoned Cleveland home on Wednesday.
At about 2 p.m., officers responded to 3284 East 132nd Street after learning a body had been discovered.
Employees from the City of Cleveland Public Works were cleaning up and removing debris when they found the body of a woman in an advanced state of decomposition, according to a report from Cleveland police.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified the woman as Amanda Aquino, 26, of Louisville.
The medical examiner said there were no obvious signs of trauma. The cause of death is unknown at this time.
