CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Animal Protective League is looking for a home for long term resident Moira, a five-year-old pit bull mix.
Moira has been at the Cleveland APL for nearly three months. When she arrived at the shelter she was nervous around people and didn’t know who to trust, but quickly came around.
The shelter said Moira will likely just need a little patience and understanding as she settles into her new home, but once she settles in she’ll be the perfect adventure companion.
Cleveland APL said that pit bulls tend to stay in shelters longer due to breed specific legislation and restrictions set by landlords, as well as breed misconceptions.
Moira loves car rides and walks and has a big smile she loves to show off.
