CLEVELAND — Over the past 16 years, the Cleveland Christmas Bazaar has been a one-stop shop for small businesses and is the state’s longest running independent craft show. Although it may look a little different this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will still be some recognizable features of the iconic event.
Cleveland Christmas Bazaar has put together an online catalog meant to resemble holiday wish-books from the big chain stores that come with the weekly ads each season.
Each vendor at the Cleveland Christmas Bazaar has their own page and shoppers can click through and browse their inventory virtually.
The event, which has teamed up with Crafty Mart in Akron and I Made It! Market in Pittsburgh, has brought together more than 150 makers, artists and small businesses.
“Technology can be a gift or a curse to some. And we wanted to lift that barrier for people and quickly make it possible to shop holiday handmade in as much of an atmosphere of fun and collaboration and community as we could,” said Carrie Nardini, Director of I Made It! Market.
The Cleveland Christmas Bazaar takes place this year on Nov. 28 and Nov. 29.
