Horseshoe Casino shut down overnight to make its transition to JACK Cleveland Casino.
Everything from the 407,000 tiny chips to the big logos need to be changed. Games need to be taken apart and replaced. More than 31,000 decks of cards must be switched out.
Player data will be transferred from Caesars Entertainment to JACK Entertainment as JACK replaces Caesars' Total Rewards. Those credits will be rolled over.
If you have Horseshoe Casino chips at home, JACK will give you 90 days to cash them out. Slot machine tickets will be valid for 180 days.
The casino is expected to open back up Wednesday around 4 p.m. if it gets approval from state officials.
