CLEVELAND — A building in Cleveland got a “Major League” paint job Sunday afternoon that baseball fans are sure to love.
CTOWN East Bank, a CrossFit facility at Irishtown Bend, is the home of a new mural featuring fictional Indians Pitcher Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn from the movie “Major League.”
The artist, Miguel Garcia of Fade Resistant Artist, created the masterpiece Saturday afternoon.
The rest of the building is covered in art, all matching the Cleveland theme.
On one wall, Cleveland’s sports teams are featured, including the Cavaliers, Browns, Indians and Monsters.
On another wall, Cleveland landmarks such as The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Terminal Tower and the “Guardians of Transportation” have been portrayed with paint.
The Ricky Vaughn addition is the cherry on top of a Cleveland-themed mural.
The city is full of beautiful art, but getting to see the process of it being created is nothing short of impressive.
