CLEVELAND — A Cleveland police officer was injured in a hit-skip crash early Saturday morning.
The crash happened on West 9th Street near Superior Avenue around 4 a.m.
Authorities say the 51-year-old officer was struck by a white SUV that fled the scene.

The officer was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
No additional information has been released.
