A Cleveland police officer was arrested by Garfield Heights police Wednesday and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and improper handling of a firearm.
Patrol Officer Mario Lozada will be placed on restricted duty until adjudication of the criminal charges, according to a news release from the Cleveland Police Department.
Lozada was hired in January of 1992 and is currently assigned to the second district.
