CLEVELAND — A 26-year-old man died after a shooting on St. Clair Avenue early Tuesday morning, according to a spokesperson for the Cleveland Police Department.
Police responded at around 12:30 a.m. to Cleveland Clinic-Euclid Hospital for two males, a 34-year-old and a 26-year-old, with gunshot wounds. Upon arrival, the 26-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the legs, back and torso was pronounced dead.
Investigators learned the victims were in a vehicle at 146 St. Clair Avenue when a vehicle pulled up next to them. A man exited the vehicle and shot into their vehicle and drove off, police said.
The victims drove to Euclid Hospital for treatment.
While officers were at the hospital, a large fight connected to the shooting broke out in the waiting area, which prompted the hospital to be placed on lockdown.
A News 5 photojournalist who went the scene of the shooting witnessed at least 18 evidence marks in the street. Shell casings and a pile of glass were also found.

Police said no arrests have been made. The homicide remains under investigation.
