CLEVELAND — In-person classes are canceled for students at Saint Ignatius High School Thursday after a fire broke out in a closet, according to the Cleveland Division of Fire.

Firefighters responded West 30th Street and Carroll Avenue for a fire in a utility closet.

The fire was quickly extinguished.

The Cleveland Division of Fire credits the maintenance staff for pulling the fire alarm and closing the closet door, helping to prevent further spread of the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
