Kim Snyder didn't come downtown Wednesday for politics.

Instead, she came for hugs.

The Parma resident says she's been praying for officers for about two years. But those prayers turned into action this week.

Sporting a 'Free Hugs' t-shirt, she approached law enforcement from around the nation to give them hugs while they protected Cleveland during the RNC.

"I'm just here to serve them, to honor them," Snyder said. "Let them know you are really appreciated because society's not saying that right now."
