CLEVELAND — A male was shot and killed Monday on Cleveland’s West Side, according to a spokesperson for Cleveland EMS.
Police responded to the 3500 block of West 50 Street just after midnight for a report of a male shot.
EMS pronounced the male dead at the scene. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Jerry Ward, 32, of Cleveland.
Witnesses said a vehicle sped off from the scene after the shooting.
