CLEVELAND — A man was arrested during the Indians doubleheader Saturday night after he rushed the field during the second of two games, according to Cleveland police.
The 23-year-old man entered the field during play, causing the game at Progressive Field to be halted for several minutes while officers detained him.
Play was halted for a minute as two police officers escorted a fan to the dugout tunnel and out of the ballpark.

After arresting the man, he was charged with criminal trespass at a place of public amusement, a misdemeanor.
The man posted bond the same day and was released from custody. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
Rushing the field was just one of the many incidents the Indians had to deal with during the doubleheader, including a fight that broke out in the upper levels.
