A man was pronounced dead on scene after he was pulled from the water near Edgewater Park in Cleveland early Saturday morning.
The man was identified as 57-year-old Anthony Pucek.
Metroparks rangers received a call about a person in distress in the lake just before midnight. Crews from the U.S. Coast Guard, Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the Cleveland Division of Fire responded.
The man was pulled from the lake around 1 a.m. by rangers and Cleveland firefighters but pronounced dead moments later.
Foul play is not suspected.
