Man found fatally shot in Cleveland library identified

CLEVELAND — The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who was found fatally shot inside a Cleveland Public Library branch Tuesday.

The man has been identified as Brandon Cutnoe, 19, of Cleveland.

The shooting happened just after 6 p.m. in the 4300 block of Pearl Road.

When police arrived, officers found Cutnoe inside the bathroom with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital and later died.

According to authorities, Cutnoe met another man at the library, a fight ensued, and shots were fired. The shooter fled the scene.

It is not clear from the information provided by police whether the shooting happened inside or outside of the library.

No suspects have been arrested.
