This is the 77th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, a date that Franklin D. Roosevelt said would "live in infamy."

In a solemn show of remembrance for those who lost their lives on that fateful morning, veterans from Northeast Ohio gathered at the U.S.S. Cod for a wreath casting, taps and gun salute.

The U.S.S. Cod is a World War II GATO class submarine that was first launched on March 21, 1943 (after Pearl Harbor), and saw action, sinking more than 12 enemy ships during the war, according to usscod.org
