A woman who police say was shot by her father in Rocky River early Tuesday has died.

Her father — 63-year-old Jamal T. Mansour — is now facing murder charges.

Rocky River police responded to a call around 1:15 a.m. from a home on Vine Court. The caller said his sister had just been shot by their father.

During the 911 call, dispatchers asked the man where the gun was. He said it was downstairs, away from his father. The brother wasn't sure where his sister was shot but said she had blood on her face but was still breathing.

"Please just come here, please," he yelled throughout the call.

Responding Rocky River and Fairview Park crews found 27-year-old Tahani Mansour with two gunshot wounds, including one to the head.

She was taken to Fairview General Hospital by Rocky River Fire Department paramedics, where she later died.

Jamal was arrested at the home on a felonious assault charge. He is now also charged with murder and domestic violence.

He is being held on $1 million bond.
