CLEVELAND — Authorities have closed off East 144th Street between Kinsman Road and Bartlett Avenue for an investigation involving four dead bodies found in an abandoned house, according to Cleveland police.
Officers responded to the scene in the 3600 block of East 144th Street around 9:05 p.m., police said.
Four bodies were found and declared dead on arrival, according to EMS.
Police said a gun was found inside of the home.
Residents told police that the boarded up house had been used for drug activity.
The Medical Examiner's Office confirmed they were responding to the scene.
The property is owned by Ohio Erie Properties and records show taxes haven’t been paid on the property since 2011.
This incident is currently under investigation.
