Police are investigating a double fatal shooting that happened on Cleveland's east side Thursday afternoon.
The shooting happened in the 17000 block of Holly Hill Drive around 3:30 p.m.
Authorities said a 52-year-old man, identified as Resean Lance Payne, died at the scene. Timothy Lanelle Steele, 45, was taken to a nearby hospital but died from his injuries.
Police said the suspect, Jason Gideons, 39, had entered the victim's home and for some unknown reason, shot them both.
Gideons then left the scene and went to a nearby McDonald's. Officers arrested him and obtained a handgun.
