A 24-year-old man was fatally shot early Friday morning in Cleveland's Central neighborhood.
The shooting happened just after midnight on Case Court.
Authorities said they were sent to the area for a shots fired call. When officers arrived, they found the man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The man was transported to a nearby hospital but died from his injuries, authorities said. The man's identity has not been released.
Officers said they believe the victim may have been involved in a fight with another man before he was shot.
Authorities haven't released any suspect information.
