Police looking for man who allegedly hit patron in the head with a hookah at restaurant in Ohio City

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police need help in identifying a man accused of assaulting a patron at a Middle Eastern restaurant in Ohio City on July 6.

Police said on July 6, a male was at Kan Zaman, 1616 West 25th Street, when a fight broke out inside.

The male victim intervened to break up the fight when he was grabbed from behind and struck in the head multiple times with a hookah.

Surveillance cameras showed images of the fight and the man accused of hitting a patron.

The person wanted by police is described as a man with a beard, wearing a white T-shirt.
