U.S. Marshals searching for Youngstown murder suspect believed to be in Cleveland area

CLEVELAND — The U.S. Marshals Service is looking for a fugitive wanted for aggravated murder in Youngstown who is believed to be in the Cleveland area.

Authorities said Abdul Muhammad, 29, has a last known address in Columbus, but law enforcement believes he is now in the Cleveland area.

Authorities said Muhammad allegedly shot and killed 35-year-old Marquise Bebbs in the parking lot behind a Youngstown bar near the intersection of East Lucius and South Avenue on Nov. 19, 2020.

Muhammad and Bebbs allegedly got into a fight before shots were fired.

He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about Muhammad’s whereabouts is asked to call the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED. Tips can be anonymous and reward money is available.
