CLEVELAND — A Cleveland-based T-Shirt company is trying to make a difference by celebrating unique, forgotten and weird moments in the city's history.

Cleveland Vintage is turning T-shirts into a symbolic historical museum of the city.

They feature both the good and the bad, memories of Cleveland as well as moments some people haven't heard about before.

The owner says he wants to help Clevelanders show their love for the city while also becoming a special part of it.

"I think a lot of the t-shirt companies have been almost ingrained in the city, people know it by name and they go oh I love these shirts, I love those shirts. We want to be that, but I want to take it a step further and like almost contribute to sort of people's elements of the city and the culture around it," said Steve DiMatteo.

Cleveland Vintage has also been working with Wyland's Foundation on a shirt that pictures the whale wall on the shoreway and donating 20% of the sales proceeds to the foundation.
