Columbia Township Fire Department teams up with Red Cross for pancake breakfast, blood drive

COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio — If you like pancakes and helping those in need, this event might be for you.

Columbia Township Fire Department has partnered up with the Red Cross and is holding a blood drive at their annual pancake breakfast.

The department said that anyone who donates blood will be treated to a free pancake breakfast.

Columbia Township Fire Department holds a breakfast each year to raise money for their firefighter’s association, which helps them buy essential equipment. This year the department said they wanted to also help the Red Cross as they have been experiencing a blood shortage.

The pancake breakfast and blood drive will be held on Sunday, April 14 at the Columbia Township fire station located at 25540 Royalton Rd. in Columbia Station.

The event will run from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
