News 5 is committed to improving childhood literacy rates.

There is a program in the State of Ohio that helps get books into the hands of children, and it's all free.

Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine visited News 5 Monday morning to talk about Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

DeWine is a major advocate for the program and the statehouse just voted to create a special license plate to help support local programs.
