News 5 reached out to Huntington Bank representatives to get answers to the questions that Huntington Bank customers may have.
Which branches are closing?
While Huntington bank representatives would not provide a list of the specific branches that are closing, they did say that customers have already received an initial letter informing them about the consolidations in their area.
When are they closing?
The consolidations will take place around the first of the new year, 2019, according to a bank official.
What about my safety deposit box?
Customers will receive an additional letter regarding their safety deposit boxes, the official said.
“After the consolidations, we will still maintain our #1 market share in branches with over 420 in the state,” the representative stated in an email to News 5.
