CLEVELAND — A Cuyahoga County corrections officer has been jailed for the improper handling of a firearm inside a motor vehicle, county officials said.
The jailer, Lakeisha West, was arrested on Thursday and remains incarcerated, according to the county.
Following the incident, West was placed on paid administrative leave.
No additional information about the incident has been released.
