CLEVELAND — A piece of plywood is covering what's left of a window at the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center after someone shot at the window overnight, sources confirmed to News 5.
An internal email says the center was shot at "multiple times" and staff inside were alerted to not leave the building during breaks "due to safety concerns."
This incident is the most recent news coming out of the troubled detention center.
In July, the detention center's superintendent quit his new position just five hours on the job by leaving a short note on his desk before he went out to lunch.
