CLEVELAND — While the snow has ended, power outages across the area remain with more than 47,000 residents waking up Wednesday without power.

Heavy, wet snow on Tuesday weighed down trees, causing them to split and break on to power lines.

The power outages for Northeast Ohio are:

  • Ashtabula County: 3, 801
  • Cuyahoga County: 20, 125
  • Geauga County: 17, 211
  • Lake County: 6, 140
  • Portage County: 145
  • Summit County 38

FirstEnergy said power is expected to be restored by 11:00 p.m. Thursday.
