GENEVA, Ohio — The bodies of two missing boaters have now been found and identified, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

The body of Cory Althar, 38, was found on Lake Erie Friday around 10 p.m., according to ODNR.

On Sunday evening, a second body was recovered near Geneva State Park, ODNR said.

The second body was later confirmed to be James Dorsey Wells Jr., 19, according to ODNR.

The two men went missing on May 18 after the boat they were on overturned at Geneva State Park.
