ASHTABULA COUNTY, Ohio — A pup at the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League finally has a new home after spending more than two years at the shelter.
Mia, a 2-year-old pit bull mix with a silly personality, found her new home on Saturday after 842 long days, the shelter announced.
The shelter shared a photo of Mia and her new mom on her adoption day, just before she headed to her new home.
Ashtabula County APL said “it takes a very special family to give long term dogs a home” and thanked Mia’s new family for taking a chance on her.
