CLEVELAND — One person has died after a crash on I-71 northbound near the exit to West 130th Street and Bellaire Road late Monday night, according to Cleveland police.
The vehicle operated out of control and drove up an embankment, hitting two trees under the West 130th Street, police said.
Police identified the driver as a 40-year-old man, who was operating his 2004 Acura at the time of the crash.
The ramp from I-71 northbound to Bellaire was closed to traffic as authorities worked to clear the scene.
