Two people were taken to the hospital after two cars collided head-on in Cleveland Monday morning.
The crash happened at around 12:16 a.m. at the intersection of Warner Road and Jeffries Avenue.
An 81-year-old man was driving a minivan on Warner Road heading in an undetermined direction while another driver, a 32-year-old man driving a Volkswagen, was heading on Warner Road, according to police.
Police said the vehicles collided head-on near the intersection of Warner Road and Jeffries Avenue after one of the cars went left of center.
The 32-year-old driver was extricated from the vehicle and taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he is confined for his injuries, according to police. His condition is unknown at this time.
The 81-year-old driver was taken to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center where he is expected to be treated and released.
