STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — The Strongsville Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Pearl Road Monday.
Around 11:54 a.m., police received a report of a felonious assault and immediately responded to the scene.
Preliminary information indicates that a woman and two children were traveling in a vehicle, headed south on Pearl Road near Valley Parkway, when another vehicle traveling south pulled up on their right side and fired several bullets at the woman and the two children, according to police.
After the shooting, the woman pulled into the parking lot of a business on Pearl Road where police then responded.
The woman and the two children sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Metro General Hospital for further treatment.
The shooting remains under investigation.
