CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — A home in Cleveland Heights was heavily damaged by a fire Monday night, according to Chief Dave Freeman of the Cleveland Heights Fire Department.
Firefighters responded at around 11:17 p.m. to a home in the 3700 block of Dellwood Road.
When firefighters arrived, the rear of the home had heavy fire conditions on the second and third floors.
The fire was largely contained within the first 20 minutes of the arrival of firefighters, Freeman said.
Three adults were home at the time of the fire but left the home with no injuries.
The Red Cross of Northeast Ohio responded to assist the residents as the home is uninhabitable.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
