Police are looking for two men driving a stolen Ford Escape with the license plate "CAT MAMA" after a 59-year-old woman was pistol-whipped and carjacked Monday night in Brooklyn Heights.
The incident happened in a residential area on the 710 block of Tuxedo Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. on Jan. 22, police said.
According to the police report, the woman was sitting in her vehicle when she was approached by two males wearing blue coats. The woman locked her doors but one of the men tapped on her window with a gun and told her to get out of the car and give him her wallet.
The report states the woman was pistol-whipped after the man asked for her wallet. The two men drove off with the woman's car and cell phone.
The car is described as a 2015 dark blue Ford Escape with custom plates. The car also has a sticker on it that says "I (heart) cats more than people."
