CLEVELAND — A local nonprofit organization held a writing workshop for kids centralized around comic books in Cleveland Heights.
Lake Erie Ink held their Seventh Annual Kids' Comic Con event on Saturday.
The event hosted working comic book writers, who helped children make comics and critiqued their writing.
Marc Sumerak, who has written for Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter and others, was the featured keynote speaker.
The workshops at Kids' Comic Con covered comic creation in both drawing and writing, and also featured a sculpting workshop for children to make their own comic book character with clay.
