EUCLID, Ohio — Amazon's new fulfillment center in Euclid is officially open for business. The company welcomed new employees inside the over 650,000 square-foot building for the first time on Sept. 8 to celebrate its first day of operation.
The Euclid fulfillment center currently has hundreds of full-time associates. The company is still looking to hire more people for the new center.
The company will offer a $15 minimum wage with benefits, which include comprehensive health care, 401 (k) with 50 % match and up to 20 weeks paid paternal leave, among other benefits.
At the Euclid facility, employees will pick, pack and ship items like electronics, books, housewares and toys to customers.
