An arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of shooting and killing two people on Interstate 90 at the West 117th Street exit ramp over the weekend.
The warrant was issued for Gianni A. Gray on Tuesday; he has been charged with aggravated murder.
Gray has prior convictions of carrying concealed weapons, having weapons under disability and drug trafficking. He was sentenced to five years in prison in 2009, according to court records.
The arrest warrant states that on Saturday, July 14 at about 7:24 p.m., Gray shot and killed Malachia Stewart and Andre Williams while they sat in a car.
Police said both of the victims had gunshot wounds to their head and body.
A third victim, a 24-year-old woman, was also injured in the shooting. She was grazed by a bullet in the stomach while she was stopped at the off-ramp. At last check, she was in stable condition.
Court records show Gray has a long criminal history. He's been in-and-out of jail and prison since he was 18 years old.
Many of the charges involve drugs and weapons.
He was also accused, but not convicted of attempted murder and arson.
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction also confirms that Gray was under parole supervision at the time of Saturday's shootings.
