Posted

Police investigated a shooting Saturday in the parking lot of Vic's Party Center.

Officers responded to the area on South Green Road around 2 a.m. after receiving several shots fired calls.

When police arrived they found shell casings from a .40-caliber handgun and a 9mm handgun in the parking lot of  the party center.

A witness told officers that a white Chevy Impala pulled onto Garden Drive and a person in the back seat of the car started firing out the back window.

A Beachwood officer then spotted a vehicle matching that description in the parking lot of the Speedway gas station at Cedar and South Green roads.

Police searched the car and found a .40 caliber handgun as well as shell casings on the floor.

The occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody.
