Bedford police continue to look for a man who shot and killed another man at a bar early Sunday morning after being thrown out.
Trevis Stephens, 33, was shot and killed on Northfield Road early Sunday morning and Bedford police think it was random.
According to Bedford police, the incident happened about 2:25 a.m. at Lounge 2.28 Bar and Grill. Stephens was sitting inside the lounge when a bullet came through a window and hit him.
Stephens was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries and he had no previous interaction with the shooter.
"He was a wonderful son, he loved his family," said Ruth Stephens.
Authorities said a man turned himself in Monday, but was later released and is no longer considered to be a person of interest in the case.
Police said security kicked the shooter out of the bar near closing time and returned with a gun he got from his car and shot randomly into the bar.
