BEDFORD, Ohio — The Bedford Heights Police Department is investigating the death of a 23-year-old man who was found in the street with multiple gunshot wounds Thursday night, according to a release.
Police responded at around 5:56 p.m. to the entrance of Palmetto Woods Development off Palmetto Avenue after receiving several 911 calls for shots fired.
Officers found a man in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers attempted to give first aid until the arrival of Bedford Fire and EMS, who pronounced the man, later identified as Aaron Swift, dead at the scene.
The medical examiner's office and agents from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to the scene.
