BEREA, Ohio — The Berea City School District is mourning the loss of a 16-year-old student.
Berea-Midpark High School junior Kaylee Roberts died unexpectedly on New Year's Eve.
Kaylee's uncle tells News 5 she went to the emergency room on Christmas Day and then returned to the hospital two days later.
On New Year's Eve she passed away.
The family is waiting for test results from the hospital to determine a cause of death.
The family has setup a GoFundMe account to help with funeral costs.
