City Council was put in a tough position, listening to comment after comment because of a clerical error with sewers in one community.
The residents who live in the Four Seasons sub-development were told $600 a year would cover their sewer assessments. But after 15 years, the city learned that cost was actually supposed to be double. Now, more than $681,000 is owed.
The money will come out of a special assessment fund which is not directly funded by tax dollars.
