CLEVELAND — A driver ran away after crashing into a Cleveland home early Friday morning.

The crash happened around 1 a.m. along Parkmount Avenue, just east of Rocky River Drive.

Cleveland EMS and neighbors said the driver ran away after the crash.

The woman living inside the home was not hurt.

Debris and skid marks suggest the car was eastbound on Parkmount from the area of West 185th Street when it crossed Rocky River Drive and hit a curb. The car then crossed Parkmount Avenue, hit a tree before continuing through the front yard of the home.

The car finally hit the front of the home near the front door and came to rest nearly all the way inside the home.
