Family and friends of Tierra Bryant gathered to celebrate her life on Saturday.

Dozens joined in song and prayer at the Olivet Institutional Baptist Church on Quincy Avenue in Cleveland Saturday morning for a memorial service for Bryant.

The 19-year-old went missing in March 2015. She was last seen near a motel on Bagley Road in Middleburg Heights. Her skeletal remains were found in a wooded area in Elyria earlier this summer.

There were hugs, tears and prayers for the young woman and her family.

"Days, weeks, months and years to come, they won't forget the kindness," said a speaker at the service.

Police arrested 39-year-old Rashad Hunt in California. He is charged in connection with her death.
