The City of Cleveland announced disciplinary actions Wednesday against two officials after a security incident at October in Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
Fred Szabo, assistant director of Port Control, was suspended without pay for 10 working days, according to a news release from the city. The city also suspended his airport-authorized privileges for 90 days, which included: escort privileges, on-airfield driving privileges and bypass access privileges.
Darnell Brown, chief of operations for the City of Cleveland, was suspended without pay for five working days, according to the city.
Both Brown and Szabo were previously suspended with pay during the investigation. The City of Cleveland's review of this incident is now closed.
