INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — Topgolf is finally coming to Northeast Ohio and before they open, they need to staff.

Topgolf is looking to hire 500 new employees for roles in areas including golf services, culinary, hospitality, facilities and event sales.

William Randall, the operations manager of Topgolf, said those interested in a career at Topgolf need to sign up for the upcoming hiring events.

The events will begin Oct. 16 and run through the first week of November, according to Randall.

Potential employees who make it through the “out-of-the-box” interview process will be offered a fun and energetic work environment, growth opportunities, a culture-driven atmosphere, full-time benefits and part-time perks.

The trendy sports venue and entertainment center will open its third Ohio venue, the first in Northeast Ohio, in Independence. This location joins one in West Chester, near Cincinnati, and one in Columbus.

The facility will have point-scoring golf games using microchipped balls that instantly score themselves, along with a climate-controlled hitting bay. There will more than 200 TVs to catch the big game while you play as well as a full-service restaurant and bars and a rooftop terrace with a fire pit.

While there isn’t an official opening date set just yet, Randall said the Independence location is hoping to be opened just in time for the holiday season.

“We cannot wait to open up. I know Cleveland has been waiting for us for a long time. We’re almost there,” Randall said.
